Welcome - I’m Kirralea
With over 30 years of experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, and a mother for the past 25 years my journey in education and life has always been guided by a deep passion for supporting children’s health, safety, and overall well-being. After completing my Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) in 1993, I spent many years in the early years arena as a Teacher and Director, before extending my impact to the next generation of educators—teaching at TAFE NSW, Open Colleges, and later as Training Lead, leading professional development at Children First Training.
My path took a meaningful turn when I became a certified Relax Kids teacher, using mindfulness and meditation to help children develop emotional resilience. During the pandemic, I pivoted into the NDIS space, working closely with children and their families through a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach alongside Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists. This experience has extended and deepened my commitment to Child Protection and strengthened my dedication to supporting vulnerable children. It has also provided extensive insight into how to support children through a Trauma informed lens and an array of strategies to provide support and guidance to assist children to have the tools to self-regulate.
Today, I continue to deliver impactful training, mentor early childhood educators and early childhood therapists, and work within NDIS frameworks to help children and their families reach their goals. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Diploma of Leadership & Management, and certification as a Relax Kids Teacher. I also teach in a 3-year-old Kinder program, bringing a heart-centered, evidence-based approach to this role and every role I take on.
Thank you for being here—I’m passionate about making a difference, and I look forward to connecting with you.
